BREAKFAST, AFTER SCHOOL and HOLIDAY CLUB
OUR AIM
Fabkids is an out of school care service Breakfast, After-school and Holiday club that provides a healthy and safe environment for pre-school activity which supports effective learning during school hours. We have a dedicated, friendly team that are fully DBS checked, a a first aider and our fully compliant. We offer a safe centre that meets the needs of children at the ages of 5-15 year old.
• We provide the children with a healthy breakfast before school and healthy snacks after school.
• We ensure children have something hot in their stomachs before going to class in the morning and some snacks after school so they are not hungry whilst waiting to be
picked up,
• We will provide healthy food provisions, value added activities and we encourage socialisation.
• Our staff act as role models and interact with the children to help them develop mentally, physically and creatively
• We also ensure parents are involved as much as possible in the club through consultation
• As a club we strive to meet best practice benchmarks through staff training and continuous professional development
• We always work to our policies and procedures and ensure that they are reviewed annually
• All of our staff our recruited using best practices

ACTIVITIES
Our activities are educational, fun, creative, motivational and active. We offer engaging activities to stimulate children and keep them engaged, and we will work with you as the parent or guardian if your child needs additional support whilst in our care. We have a variety of activities to enhance education and social skills .
SAFETY
The safety and welfare of our children is of paramount importance for Fabkids. Our venue is risk assessed by trained staff on a daily basis.
Our team can be identified by their light blue tops that are clearly marked with the company’s name and logo, they also wear photographic ID badges. Staff will be aware of each child’s location, whether they are playing outside in our enclosed fenced in garden or relaxing inside by using walkie talkies to communicate and by conducting regular head counts.
At After School Club, Key Stage 1 children are generally collected by a member of staff and walked to the club location. Key Stage 2 children make their way to where they will then be signed into the club. To enable us to quickly identify the children in our care they wear a high-vis vest whenever they are outside.
When your child is collected at the end of a session you will be greeted by a member of staff who will identify you from the list of collectors you have given on your child’s details. Any collector not known to the staff will be asked to provide photo ID. Please note if a person arrives to collect a child and they are not on the list we will be unable to allow the child to leave without speaking to the person who made the booking. This is to ensure we only ever let children leave with an approved person.

• After School Clubs - 15:15 - 18:00 @ £9 per session

We will provide you with a number in case of emergencies or if you are running late. Please be aware any lateness past the advertised closing time will be chargeable at £5 per fifteen minutes or part thereof. This is to cover staff and other costs.
