BRIDGING the LEARNING GAP – MATHS & ENGLISH Support for Young Learners

Every Friday, Sherwood Park Hall Supports First Class Learning Mitcham in running focused Maths and English sessions to help local primary school children catch up on the vital learning time lost during the COVID-19 pandemic. While many students across the country were affected, those from less advantaged households—without access to laptops, quiet study spaces, or extra help—have felt the impact more deeply. The classes are designed to build confidence, close learning gaps, and give children a strong foundation in core subjects. By providing this extra support in a friendly, community setting, we’re helping young learners not just improve their grades, but also rebuild a sense of belief in their abilities. We know that strong literacy and numeracy skills are key to breaking cycles of disadvantage and opening doors later in life.
Every Friday 4pm- 6pm.

Price: TBC
